There isn’t much specific plot info available yet, but it’s being described as an omnibus film under the central theme of “20-year-old love” and is intended to help train and promote the directors and actors involved.

Five different directors were involved in the project, including Ariko Kimura, whose past work has been screened at Cannes.

The project also feature Sou Matsumoto, front-man of the rock band GOING UNDER GROUND, in his film acting debut.

“Abed: Hatachi no Koi” will be released in Japan on April 16, 2011.
